The Ultra4 Charter Program gives committed competitors exclusive benefits, significant savings on race entries, and a long-term stake in the growth of Ultra4 Racing and King of the Hammers.
As a Charter Holder, you’re not just entering races—you’re investing in the future of the sport.
Charter Costs and Benefits
The Ultra4 Competitor Charter consists of:
- A one-time $2,500 Charter purchase price; and
- $5,000 in annual membership dues.
Active Charter Holders in good standing receive:
- A 50% discount on entry fees for King of the Hammers and all other Ultra4 USA races, limited to one discounted entry per Charter per event;
- Participation in the Charter Program's annual revenue-sharing pool, including a fixed percentage of KOH/Ultra4 sponsorship, ticket, merchandise, and content/media licensing revenue; and
- Unlimited access to the KOH/Ultra4 content library for personal, non-commercial use.
Revenue Sharing Begins Immediately
You do not need to wait for your Charter to vest to participate in revenue distributions.
Once you have purchased a Charter, satisfied the annual membership requirements and are an Active Charter Holder in good standing, you are eligible for the Charter benefits applicable to that calendar year, including revenue participation.
Own a Vested Ultra4 Charter
Your Charter vests after three years.
Vesting is about ownership and transferability, rather than when your economic benefits begin.
Once your Charter is vested, it becomes your vested Charter interest and may be sold through a private sale to a new member approved by Hammerking. Subject to the applicable Charter transfer requirements, the proceeds of an approved private sale belong to the selling Charter Holder.
Annual membership dues continue after vesting.
What Happens If a Vested Holder Doesn't Pay Annual Dues?
A vested Charter is not automatically forfeited simply because a Charter Holder does not maintain annual membership dues.
Instead, the Charter becomes inactive.
The holder continues to own the vested Charter, but while it is inactive, the holder does not receive annual revenue distributions, entry discounts or other Active Charter Holder benefits.
An inactive vested Charter may subsequently be reactivated by satisfying the applicable membership requirements or may be sold to an approved purchaser.
Benefits and distributions do not accrue retroactively for periods during which the Charter was inactive.
Transferable Asset
Once vested, Charters may be sold to approved new members via private sale, with 100% of the proceeds going directly to the Charter holder.
One Charter. One Discounted Entry Per Race.
Each Active Charter provides a 50% entry-fee discount for one entry at each King of the Hammers and Ultra4 USA event.
The Charter discount cannot be applied to multiple entries at the same event.
February 28 Annual Eligibility Date
To participate in a particular calendar year's Charter benefits and revenue distribution, a Charter Holder must have purchased their Charter and paid the applicable annual membership dues in full, or be current under an approved installment plan, no later than February 28 of that year.
Accordingly, a Charter purchased and in good standing by February 28, 2027 will be eligible to participate in the 2027 Charter distribution, which will be paid no later than February 28, 2028.
